UDUIT Benchtops are an affordable and stylish choice for your kitchen project. Crafted with a moisture-resistant MDF substrate and finished in high-quality HPL laminate, these benchtops are built to last, with excellent durability –  ideal for everyday kitchen use.

UDUIT Benchtops are made to measure, meaning you can order them to your required size within set limits. Both ends come finished, so no additional edging is needed—just fit, fix, and you’re done.

For shaped or corner benchtops we recommend using a local benchtop fabricator. 

The manufacturing lead time for orders that include Made to measure benchtops is 14 working days to dispatch. For delivery times please refer to the FAQ section of the website.

Things to know.

To calculate the length of the benchtop, measure the available space or refer to your layout drawing and add together the widths of all cabinets and panels. You can use both methods to cross-check your measurement for accuracy. 

Allow at least a 20mm benchtop overhang where the benchtop extends past supporting cabinets and panels. Where the benchtops finish against a wall or a panel no overhang is required. TIP: Where you have a freestanding oven space the overhang should be 5mm on each side past the end panels.

If you are fitting between walls and or panels you made need to reduce the benchtop length 2 – 3mm tolerance in case the space is not square. Otherwise it could be a tight fit resulting in you having to cut the benchtop to fit.

Benchtop finshed height: 870mm cabinet hieght  + 36mm thick benchtop = 906mm

The depth is 600mm.You can only adjust the length not the depth of the benchtop.

Specifications

• The 36mm thick benchtop is constructed using 2 layers of 18mm MDF Panels. The 2nd layer is an 80mm frame 
• The front edge has a smooth D-shape profile with a 10mm radius, adding a refined touch.
• The surface is hard wearing HPL* (High Pressure Laminate), pressed on to New Zealand made moisture resistant MDF board.
  • *HPL is the most commonly used product for kitchen benchtops and other counter top situations.
• All benchtops are supplied with a machine-finished clashed edge. The back edge is unfinished bare MDF.
